Our Story
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
At Beacon Quran Tuitions, our journey started with a simple vision: to make Quran learning easy, trustworthy, and transparent for families living abroad. Many parents felt lost after enrolling their children in online classes no clear progress, irregular teachers, and vague promises. We wanted to change that.
BQT was founded to give families something different: clarity, structure, and trust. From the first class, parents don’t have to “guess” if their child is learning. They can see it with our Monthly Progress Tracking reports, which show mistakes reduced, verses memorized, and recitation improved step by step.

The Challenge
Most of us are afraid that they may say something unauthentic when it comes to teaching the Qur’an. To help you facilitate this work, we have prepared (inshaAllah) a very effective program for teaching the Qur’an at Understand the Quran Academy. We have the textbook and the PPT files for you to download. And now we have transcribed files too. You can now read the whole lecture, prepare yourself and practice the delivery using the PPTs and a projector or a big screen.
I can say that inshaAllah this is better than any other system since we give a smooth start with text, slides, videos and all the teachers have to do is just re-present the material. A beginner will find it very comfortable to start with this method. Additionally, what better blessing can there be than to start with the teaching of the Qur’an? And if a person delivers 10 such lessons, inshaAllah he will get enough confidence to deliver on any other topic, inshaAllah (of course, after he prepares for the material).
We have started implementing this in two of our training centers and the results are alhamdulillah very encouraging. Making this a team effort along the lines mentioned in this approach can provide an effective training to the new teachers.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The best of you is the who learns the Qur’an and teaches it [Bukhari].” We hope that you have benefited from the courses on our website. Almost 90% of Non-Arab brothers and sisters do not understand the Qur’an! Let us work together to remove this illiteracy. The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said, “Convey from me even if it is a verse.” It is an order from him. He made it so general that even if we know one verse, we are commanded to convey it.
